How Is the Day Structured?

The morning begins with a hotel pickup at 8:30 AM and a drive to Amber Fort, 11 km north of the city. The fort tour covers the main courtyards, the celebrated Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Ganesh Pol, and the zenana quarters over approximately 2-3 hours.

Returning to the old walled city, we visit the three attractions clustered within walking distance of each other. Hawa Mahal is best appreciated from the street with a photo stop, followed by the interior tour. City Palace occupies 1.5-2 hours with its museums, royal collections, and the famous silver urns. Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century astronomical observatory, rounds out the heritage circuit.

The late afternoon is left flexible for bazaar shopping in Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar, or an optional extension to Nahargarh Fort for sunset panoramic views of the entire Pink City.
