How Is the Day Structured?
The morning begins with a hotel pickup between 5:00 and 6:00 AM. After the expressway drive, you arrive at the Taj Mahal by 8:30-9:00 AM (or earlier for sunrise visits during summer). Our guide walks you through the history and architecture of the monument over 2-3 hours.
After the Taj Mahal, we visit Agra Fort, located just 2.5 km away. The fort tour takes about 1.5 hours. Lunch is at a recommended restaurant near the Taj (not included in the tour price, allowing you to choose your preference and budget).
The afternoon includes a visit to Itimad-ud-Daulah, often called the “Baby Taj” for its exquisite marble inlay work that predates the Taj Mahal. Time permitting, we can add a quick stop at Mehtab Bagh for river-side views of the Taj. The return drive to Delhi typically gets you back to your hotel by 7:00-8:00 PM.
